Brief Overview The Pastoral Council is seen as a structure of consultation and consensus. It is a planning council not a coordinating council, it is where cooperative planning occurs. The Council is a consultative-planning body, developing the mission of the parish church with the pastor.
The consultation of the Council is very important in the decision-making modus operandi, but the Council is not the decision making body.
